Interesting enough, the iPAQ 600-line is still expected to be released in Europe, later this spring - together with the also delayed iPAQ 900 Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone - while a U.S. launch seems to be canceled. According to the Chinese-language Commercial Times, one reason for the cancelation is, that the the first series of 3.5G handsets undertaken by Inventec Appliances failed to pass tests carried out by HP.

[Permalink]
(c) 2008 by the::unwired - All Rights Reserved

HPInventeciPAQ_600iPAQ_900Windows_Mobile_6_Professional 02 - Pocket PC News Thu, 21 Feb 2008 17:33:12 +0100 info@theunwired.net (Arne Hess) http://www.theunwired.net/?item=quality-hp-might-suspend-its-cooperation-with-inventec-due-to-quality-issues Sidebar: Nokia Text Messenger works nice in Windows Vista - and Nokia Phones only http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/theunwired/~3/238876599/ While I'm a big fan of Windows Vista's Sidebar, I haven't found too many good gadgets to be used with it and I always hoped, Microsoft would deliver some more gadgets by itself, to promote Windows Vista Sidebar and - even more important - to unify the different technologies, where it makes sense. Now, interesting enough, it seems Nokia picked-up exactly this idea and released "Nokia Text Messenger" for Windows Vista Sidebar. Nokia Text Messenger fetches you the latest text messages from your connected Nokia device. As a gadget, designed for Windows Vista, Nokia Text Messenger comes in two different sizes and you can place it in your Windows Sidebar or you can put it, in a slightly larger size, floating on your desktop.

[Permalink]
(c) 2008 by the::unwired - All Rights Reserved
<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~a/theunwired?i
